Matchmaking is all about people and relationships, and this is what gives Soirée Society its unique selling point. The team at Soirée Society combines professional experience, backed by training and certification, with a keen eye for the intangible that could create a spark between two people. We know from our own experience that people's preconceived ideas can hinder the search for a partner and are often based on bias and deep-seated mis-conceptions. Our personal interaction with our clients helps encourage them to be more open and receptive and has given us a proven track record in introducing compatible people. You can be assured that your investment is being managed in your best interests by highly professional and credible individuals.
Claire is a former Bank Manager and following a successful 35 year career in Banking, she started her own consultancy business in 2013, specialising in business mentoring, event management, customer care and work/life balance training.
The initial idea of organising events exclusively for unattached people came about after a conversation with a single friend who was in her mid-thirties and who described how difficult it is to meet an eligible partner.
This sparked the idea of an alternative to online dating sites and following extensive research the ‘Refreshingly Different’ Soirée Society NI was born.
Her years in business and in a happy marriage have given her tremendous insights into human relationships. She uses these, together with her empathetic and motivational interviewing skills, to gain a clear understanding of her clients’ needs.
Soirée Society won the' Best Upcoming Matchmaker Agency of the Year' at the UK Dating awards in London in 2016 and were Finalists in 'Best Matchmaking Agency of the Year 2017'.
Commenting on Claire's success at the awards, Caroline Brealey, Head Judge and owner of the Matchmaker Academy UK said:
"I'm delighted that Claire's hard work and success has been recognised by the UK Dating Awards.
Claire has worked tirelessly to create Soirée Society which has been hugely successful in bringing people together. There are few people who have a genuine knack for personal matchmaking and Claire is one of them - she has an eye for a great match and the determination to help her clients find 'the one'."
Caroline concluded: "Claire is flying the flag for Northern Ireland in the dating industry and long may it continue."
Rhoda joined Soirée Society in January 2017. She had earlier taken early retirement from her management role in the Civil Service.
She is a very caring, warm, friendly and empathetic person who has seamlessly transferred her organisational experience and excellent people skills to her new professional Matchmaker role.
Rhoda can identify with the difficulties that a lot of our clients face in seeking a partner. Having been previously married, and divorced, with dependent children, she found it was not easy to re-enter the dating scene, with work and family commitments often taking precedence.
Her life changed for the better when through two mutual friends she was introduced to her now husband, who had also been previously married.
She knows the positive difference that has made to both their lives, to love again and to be loved, to laugh and have fun, the friendship and companionship, holidays and a much better home and social life.
Knowing the significant benefits of being in a loving relationship, motivates her to help others take positive action to move forward in their lives and to seek that extra dimension that being in a good relationship can bring.
She is an extraordinary Matchmaker and has successfully introduced many of our clients to their soulmate.
We are the only Matchmakers in Ireland to have received certification from the Matchmaker Academy and are members of the Dating Industry Professionals Network (DIPN).
